When you are debating locations in Columbus for your senior photo session, don’t sleep on this amazing area just North of downtown. Choosing to have your senior pictures taken in the Short North is honestly a no brainer. From the architecture to the art scattered around the neighborhood to the beauty of Goodale Park, it’s an utterly perfect place to have photos taken. The Short North offers so many spots for photos that coupled with people’s different personalities and clothes, gives every session a different feel but they all have that urban undertone I love so much. Bricks, chain link, fire escapes and the occasional piece of art work are scattered around the district. It’s pure photo perfection!
For all those reasons and more, I was super excited that Andrew opted to have his photos taken there. I feel like he was meant to have his senior pictures taken in the Short North. I mean… Look at him! His hair, bone structure, clothes, sunglasses and laid back personality along with the Short North scenery came together so wonderfully!
Andrew will be heading off to the University of Cincinnati after high school. I think they are going to be lucky to have him. He’s smart and fun with a good sense of humor. If it matters, the first photo is my absolute favorite from his session! He looks so relaxed! Enjoy these photos. Which is your favorite?
