Engagement session for Allee and Evan

An engagement session that’s close to my heart—I just can’t put into words how special this session is to me.  When you’ve been a photographer for a while, you get to see people grow up. I’ve known Allee for most of her life.  I’ve been photographing her family for years and the whole family holds a very special place in my heart.  They were one of the first families to believe in me and my business. Aside from yearly family photos, I’ve photographed Allee’s senior pictures and her engagement session. And now… Allee is marrying Evan tomorrow and (Sniff) I’m not crying. You’re crying.

Let’s take a walk down memory lane to their engagement session back in May. We went to Coffman Park in Dublin for a photographic warm up to their big day. With a January wedding, it will be really nice to have some more typical warm weather images to look back on.

These two! They are clearly happy. Am I right? There were so many photos of them nuzzling like this!

This photo, though… is an absolute favorite of mine. If it were me, I’d print this beauty at a monster size and hang it over the couch. It’s utterly dreamy.

It’s hard to believe this session was more than six months ago and now we’re on the verge of their big day at Jorgensen Farms. I know the weather forecast is calling for a pretty solid snow storm and while I’m certain it makes the wedding planners a smidge nervous. I’m not mad about it. I am certain all the people that love them will show up regardless of weather. As for me, snow makes amazing photos and I can’t wait to photograph these two in a Winter Wonderland!
